Standard Poodle - The Definition of Versatility

Grooming needs for the standard poodle can be high or low depending on the cut they are kept in. Many poodle owners choose to keep them in a Kennel clip or a Miami clip with minimal hair on the body. 
Show dogs will generally have more hair on them depending on which venue you are showing in (AKC or UKC) . If you want your pup to be kept long maintenance baths between a full groom is a must. 
Nail trimming should be done every 2-4 weeks, and teeth should be maintained by allowing them to chew on treats such as dental chews, bully sticks, or bones, or even brushing their teeth for them.
